A room packed full of young entrepreneurs who had all taken the plunge and made their idea happen – seriously inspiring people. Chancellor Alistair Darling gave out the prizes and at the end there was a surprise guest when Prime Minister Gordon Brown arrived to meet the winners – all very exciting! Social & Community – Nathaniel Peat from The Safety Box
Teen – Giles Peters from Diabetic Hampers
Creative -Jessica Huie from Colorblind Cards
Highly Commended – Eddie Riby from Parcel Safe
High Growth – Oliver Bishop from Steak Media
People’s Choice – With over 1,000 of the total 7,130 votes the People’s Choice was Nathaniel Peat from The Safety Box

Enterprising Young Brits was such a great event. Full marks to Claire and the team for putting on such a great day. It was a funnny moment when Gordon Brown and John Hutton turned up, with Alistair Darling already on the stage. Noone was quite sure what to do next!
Everyone in the room was absolutely buzzing with excitement in the way that only Awards ceremonies can do.
I’ve never been awarded anything myself though, so i’ll just stay in the crowd… ;(
